The municipality of Poitiers acquired this forest property in 1968 and developed it into a recreational space while maintaining its natural characteristics.
The park offers educational workshops and guided tours that focus on local wildlife conservation and environmental awareness for school groups and families.
From April to October, visitors can access the park daily between 10:00 AM and 17:45 PM, with extended hours until 18:45 PM during weekends and holidays.
The facility includes a pony club, swimming pools, fishing pond, and nature trails, making it both a zoological garden and recreational destination.
