Espace des rapaces

Espace des Rapaces is a bird of prey sanctuary set across about 250 hectares of natural forest in the region. Visitors can observe different species as they fly and display their natural behavior throughout the expansive grounds.

The center was founded by the National Forest Authority to protect endangered raptor species and educate visitors about their role in nature. Over time it has become an important site for bird conservation and environmental education.

Falconry plays an important role in the daily activities here, and visitors can see how humans and birds of prey have worked together for a long time. The daily demonstrations show traditional hunting techniques performed by experienced falconers.

The grounds are expansive and easy to walk through, allowing visitors to explore different areas to observe birds in various settings. The best times to visit are during feeding demonstrations when the birds are most active.

The center runs a rehabilitation program where injured wild birds receive care before being returned to their natural habitat. Visitors sometimes get to see these birds being cared for during their recovery.
