Château de Montjoye, 19th century castle in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, France.

The castle stands on the northern ridge of the valley, featuring a combination of limestone, brick, and timber framing with broken long-side roofs covered in flat tiles.

Originally built as a hunting lodge around 1830, the property was gradually expanded by successive owners, including Lord Henry Noailles Widdrington Standish who added an English-style southern facade in 1908.

During World War I, the castle owners opened their doors to wounded French and English soldiers, demonstrating solidarity during challenging times.

The French Football Federation purchased the estate in 1983, transforming it into the National Technical Center for football training and development.

The castle grounds include the reconstructed portal of the former Clairefontaine abbey church, which was relocated to the park in 1914.
