Askos Stone Park

The park extends across 124 acres of land, containing more than 170,000 plants and hundreds of animals living in their natural Mediterranean habitats.

The stone structures within the park, including water collection basins and old stables, were constructed approximately 600 years ago by local inhabitants.

The park maintains traditional agricultural practices through activities such as olive gathering and goat milking, which visitors can experience with local guides.

The park provides complimentary water bottles and multilingual guidebooks in 25 languages, with no time restrictions for exploring the grounds.

The sanctuary houses rare Platonia deer and North American raccoons alongside native species like hawks, peacocks, and water turtles in natural Mediterranean settings.
