Papugarnia Karpacz

Papugarnia Karpacz is a bird sanctuary in Brzezie Karkonoskie that houses more than 100 exotic parrots in an open flight environment. The facility spans 200 square meters and contains species such as macaws, cockatoos, and amazons.

The sanctuary was established as part of a regional initiative to develop educational wildlife attractions in the Karkonosze Mountains area. The project reflected regional efforts to provide visitors with access to wildlife facilities in Lower Silesia.

The place serves as a learning space where visitors discover tropical bird species through direct encounters and expert guidance. Daily interaction with the animals teaches visitors about the behaviors and habitats of these birds.

The facility is accessible daily, and visitors should wear comfortable clothing to explore the open areas. It is best to allow time for calm observation and to watch the birds at their own pace.

Visitors can feed the freely flying parrots while trained keepers supervise the interactions. This direct contact offers personal insight into the behavior and individual personalities of the birds.
