Wiejskie "ZOO", Petting zoo in Berezka, Poland
Wiejskie ZOO is a farm experience in Berezka where you can see rabbits, calves, goats, sheep, guinea fowl, turkeys, ducks, geese, pigs, and horses. The grounds include a traditional well and areas for activities like practicing milking on model cows and walking through a maze made of hay bales.
The farm was founded by parents Ania and Bogumil who created this place to introduce children to traditional farming. The project grew from a desire to pass on knowledge about old farming and animal care methods to younger generations.
The place keeps Polish farming customs alive through butter-making demonstrations and displays a traditional well with a wooden winch. Visitors can watch how old farming techniques are still used in daily practice.
The farm is located some distance away and is best reached by car, with travel time from larger towns taking about an hour. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since the grounds have walking and play paths through different animal areas.
Visitors can practice milking a cow using a model, which gives hands-on understanding of dairy farming. A corn maze offers extra entertainment and lets guests playfully navigate the grounds.
