Le Cârouj

Le Cârouj is a heritage park near Monterfil that displays more than 60 traditional games from Brittany, including boules, tug-of-war, and regional variations of skittles. The grounds feature open grass areas and simple facilities where visitors can actually try these games under guidance.

The park was established roughly 30 years ago to preserve Breton gaming traditions that were fading from everyday life. Its creation marked an effort to document and keep alive the regional pastimes that generations had enjoyed.
