Yakapark

Yakapark is an indoor playground in Plescop featuring roughly 700 square meters of secured space with obstacle courses, bridges, slides, and designated areas for children ages 1 to 12. The venue also includes a Virtual Reality room spanning about 220 square meters where children can experience digital activities like dragon flights and snowmobile rides.

The playground started as a basic recreation venue and expanded its offerings in recent years by adding a Virtual Reality space. This addition marks a shift toward incorporating digital entertainment options alongside traditional physical activities.

The facility reflects how French families spend their free time by combining play spaces with areas where parents can watch over children while enjoying their own time. This layout allows visitors to be together while giving adults a chance to relax alongside the activities.

The facility is open Monday through Saturday with separate areas for different age groups, keeping younger children away from older ones. The Virtual Reality room requires advance booking for visitors over 10 years old, so it is wise to arrange this beforehand.

In the Virtual Reality area, children can fly on dragon backs or pilot snowmobiles, offering a rare digital experience for this age group. These activities stand apart from the traditional physical equipment found elsewhere in the facility.
