Le Jardin d’Ariane

Le Jardin d'Ariane is a recreational park sprawling across 7 hectares with a large corn maze and plant labyrinth, complemented by wooden game structures and open spaces. The grounds are organized to encourage exploration and allow visitors to spend several hours discovering different sections.

The park opened in 1999 after converting from agricultural land through careful landscape planning and development over two decades. This transformation demonstrates how intensive farmland became a leisure destination.

The garden draws visitors through scenes rooted in French mythology, particularly encounters with the legendary Minotaur figure woven throughout the paths. This mythological thread gives the space a narrative quality that shapes how people move through it.

Visiting the park requires comfortable walking since the mazes are navigated on foot and involve considerable distance. Bring water and sun protection, as open areas have limited natural shade despite Mediterranean vegetation nearby.

The grounds feature 6000 Mediterranean trees planted without chemicals, creating natural shade areas throughout the site. This vegetation gives visitors relief from sun exposure while shaping how the entire place looks and feels.
