Jurapark Krasiejów

Jurapark Krasiejów is a dinosaur park built on a former fossil site, featuring more than 200 life-sized models of prehistoric creatures positioned across walking trails. The models follow scientific knowledge, and interactive displays and information panels throughout the grounds explain how different species looked and lived.

The park was established in the early 2000s after scientists recognized the area held valuable fossils from the Mesozoic era. Its creation transformed the site from a research location into a place where education and direct experience of prehistoric time come together.

The site holds deep roots in local paleontological discovery, as the ground itself once yielded important fossil deposits that scientists continue to study. This connection to real scientific exploration gives visitors a sense of standing where actual discoveries happened.

The site can be visited in a few hours or a full day depending on how long you spend at each display and interactive area. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as the route covers considerable ground, and visitors should be prepared for outdoor conditions year-round.

The ground still yields fossils that researchers continue to uncover, and newly found specimens sometimes enter the park's displays. This means visitors may witness an active archaeological and paleontological site, not just a museum recreation.
