NaturWaterPark, Water park and theme park in Andrães, Portugal
NaturWaterPark is a recreation and water park in Andrães, in the Vila Real district of northern Portugal. The grounds bring together water slides and pools, adventure play areas, and an educational farm, each set in its own section of the site.
The park opened in 2011 as a new destination in the Douro region, combining water recreation and farm education on a single site for the first time locally. It was created to offer families a day out that mixed outdoor play with hands-on agricultural learning.
The on-site restaurant serves regional Portuguese dishes made with ingredients grown on the farm within the grounds. This creates a direct link between what visitors see during the farm visit and what they eat at the table.
The park is best enjoyed from June through September when warm weather allows all sections to run together. Bringing swimwear, sun protection, and comfortable shoes for the different areas will make the visit easier.
The park has its own lodging area with bungalows, mobile homes, and camping spots, so visitors can stay overnight without leaving the site. This means a single trip can stretch across several days, mixing water activities with farm visits and outdoor nights.
