Salagdoong Beach

Salagdoong Beach is a public beach in Maria with clear turquoise waters and fine white sand bordered by massive limestone cliffs. The water is shallow at the edges and deepens toward the center, allowing various water activities across a relatively compact area.

The location became a destination after initial facilities and pathways were built to make the cove accessible to visitors. Over time, additional infrastructure was added to accommodate growing numbers of people.

The beach serves as a gathering place where both locals and visitors swim, snorkel, and explore the cove together. It maintains its character as a cherished recreational spot where ocean breezes and daylight naturally shape the daily experience.

Weather is warm and sunny year-round, with drier months being best for a visit. Bring sunscreen, drinking water, and swimming gear, as on-site amenities may be limited.

The cliffs above the beach contain natural jumping platforms at various heights where bold swimmers can leap into deep water. This formation resulted from natural erosion and offers a memorable adventure for those willing to take the plunge.
