Le Sucre

Le Sucre is a nightclub and cultural space in Lyon's 2nd Arrondissement that holds up to 780 people and sits on top of the La Sucrière building. The venue features large open areas with high ceilings, modern design, and a spacious terrace overlooking the Saône river, Fourvière basilica, and city lights.

The building was originally a sugar warehouse and was transformed into a modern venue after the club opened in 2013. This conversion marked a turning point in Lyon's nightlife, demonstrating how the city repurposed old industrial structures into contemporary cultural and entertainment spaces.

The club takes its name from the building's past as a sugar warehouse, reflecting Lyon's shift from industrial hub to cultural destination. Today it serves as a social gathering place where people discover new music and artists while connecting with others across different backgrounds.
