Butte de Warlencourt

The Durham Light Infantry memorial stands at the summit, commemorating the soldiers who fought in multiple attempts to capture this strategic position.

Visitors can access the site through a designated walkway with handrails, with four rest benches positioned along the path to the summit.

The Western Front Association purchased and preserved this burial mound in 1990, protecting its archaeological and historical significance for future generations.
