Limnoupolis
Limnoupolis is a water park near Chania in Crete with a large main pool measuring 1,500 square meters and a depth of about 3.80 meters. The park features eleven water slides ranging from gentle rides to extreme attractions like free fall slides and a black hole slide, plus a dedicated children's pool with shallow water and small slides, as well as a lazy river stretching 206 meters around the park.
The park was established as a local attraction and has developed over the years into a popular destination for both locals and tourists visiting the Chania region. It continues to serve as a key leisure destination in Crete.
The park is located about 7 kilometers from the city of Chania and is easily accessible by car or transfer service. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent throughout the park, and there is a first aid center on site, along with restaurants, fast food areas, and bars where visitors can take breaks and purchase refreshments.
The park features a fun train service that transports visitors around the grounds, adding a sense of adventure especially for children. Additionally, the 206-meter-long lazy river allows guests to drift peacefully while enjoying views of the countryside surroundings at a relaxed pace.
