Spiaggia di Porto Miggiano

Spiaggia di Porto Miggiano is a beach in Santa Cesarea Terme set against towering white limestone cliffs that drop steeply to the shore. The shallow waters here form natural pools and rocky coves where the seabed creates interesting shapes and pockets.

Access to this beach requires descending a staircase of roughly 100 concrete steps from the parking area above. Wear solid shoes with good grip and be ready for the effort of climbing back up when you leave.

Nearby sits the Grotta delle Ancore, a sea cave with unusual rock formations shaped by water erosion over many centuries. This hidden grotto often goes unnoticed by visitors but reveals striking examples of how waves and time reshape stone.
