Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures

Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is a wildlife park featuring large lagoon areas where hundreds of crocodiles live in natural conditions alongside other Australian animals. Daily feeding demonstrations and wildlife presentations show how the animals behave in their habitats.

The park started in 1934 as a tea house and later developed into a public crocodile show venue. It was the first facility in Australia to breed crocodiles in captivity and display them to visitors.

The Gondwana Gateway section presents the evolution of Australian animals through millions of years, highlighting the continent's natural development.

The park can be explored on foot with good walkways connecting different viewing areas throughout the grounds. Plan to spend several hours to see multiple animal demonstrations and presentations, bringing sun protection and comfortable shoes.

A boat ride across the lagoon lets visitors watch crocodiles leap from the water to catch food in action. This spectacle reveals how these large reptiles hunt in their natural behavior.
