Col d'Ibardin

Sunêlia Ibardin is a 4-star campsite spreading across 8 hectares of oak woodland between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees, near the Spanish border. The grounds offer grass pitches with electric hookups, a large swimming pool complex, and various leisure and entertainment facilities.

The location sits at the traditional mountain pass of Col d'Ibardin, which has linked French and Spanish Basque territories for centuries. This historic crossing shapes the site's position and significance today.

The on-site restaurant La Venta Mariano showcases Basque regional cooking with seafood and local dishes from June to September. The kitchen reflects flavors from this border zone where French and Spanish culinary traditions meet.

The campsite is well-positioned for accessing nearby beaches suitable for water activities. Most entertainment and leisure programs are concentrated during summer months, particularly from July through August.

Children ages 5 to 17 can join specialized programs featuring nature exploration and introductory surfing lessons at nearby beaches. These structured activities allow young visitors to discover the region and its outdoor opportunities.
