Le Sevron, Municipal campground in Saint-Étienne-du-Bois, France
Le Sevron is a campground on roughly 1.5 hectares with 33 pitches along a riverbank in Saint-Étienne-du-Bois. The site sits in a valley at 250 meters elevation, surrounded by meadows and riverside trees that shade many of the pitches.
The municipality developed this campground in the 1970s to serve travelers on the N83 road connecting Bourg-en-Bresse and Lons-le-Saunier. It has remained an important stop for passing visitors ever since.
The site serves as a gathering place where visitors and local people meet, particularly during summer when events are organized regularly. These gatherings shape the daily rhythm and create an open, welcoming environment.
The campground has electrical connections, water points, and heated sanitary facilities for straightforward camping. Several chalets are also available for rent if you prefer more comfortable accommodation.
The campground provides direct access to fishing spots along the riverbank, making it appealing for anglers. Visitors can pursue their fishing interests while staying overnight at the site.
