Block'out, Indoor climbing facility in Bellevue-Chantenay, Nantes, France
Block'out Nantes contains extensive bouldering walls up to 5 meters high with designated routes of varying difficulties for sport climbing without ropes.
The Block'out chain initiated its first location in 2008, drawing inspiration from climbing experiences in the Forêt de Fontainebleau before expanding across France.
The facility functions as a meeting point for the local climbing community, where individuals gather to practice, share techniques, and develop climbing skills.
The center maintains regular hours from Monday to Friday 11:00 to 23:00 and weekends 9:00 to 21:00, with climbing shoe rentals available on site.
This center combines bouldering walls with additional fitness areas, cross-training zones, and wellness facilities including saunas for post-climbing recovery.
