La Porte Secrète, Escape game complex in Augny, France.
La Porte Secrète is an escape room complex in Augny featuring nine distinct game rooms, each recreating different movie-like scenarios with their own puzzles and challenges. The facility spans about 1000 square meters (11000 square feet) and allows groups to choose from various adventure narratives to solve.
The facility opened in June 2016 and was the first escape room venue to operate in the Moselle department at that time. This marked the beginning of this type of entertainment experience in the region.
The rooms draw inspiration from stories and settings found in different cultures around the world, from pirate adventures in the Caribbean to alchemical laboratories in medieval Europe. Visitors encounter these themes brought to life through props and set design that feel like stepping into another place and time.
The venue welcomes groups and operates with specific hours depending on the day of the week, with longer evening availability on weekends. Groups can reserve in advance and payment can be made using ANCV holiday vouchers.
Visitors can explore stories involving the search for Nicolas Flamel's stone and the mystery of the Paradise Hotel disappearances. These two scenarios are particularly notable among puzzle enthusiasts for offering different types of challenges and storylines.
