Desert Rose Aqua Park

Desert Rose Aqua Park is a water park on the Red Sea coast near Hurghada in Egypt. The site covers a large area with several pools, slides and zones for children, along with lawns and palm trees for cooling off.

The park was built in the early 2000s as part of a larger holiday resort during the rapid expansion of Hurghada's visitor offer. Since then, the site has been regularly maintained and extended to add new attractions and rest areas.

The name links the desert around with the pinkish color of some sandstone formations in the area. Families from Egypt and abroad come here to play in the water on hot days and meet on the lawns.

The park opens in the morning and closes in the afternoon, leaving enough time to use most of the facilities. Shaded areas under palm trees offer rest between rides on the slides.

Some pools create artificial waves that provide movement in the water at regular intervals. The site sits between the sea and the dry mountains, so both landscapes can be seen from the park.
