Riviera Waterpark, Water park in Novo-Savinovsky District, Kazan, Russia.
Riviera Waterpark is an indoor facility with slides, wave pools and artificial rivers in the Novo-Savinovsky District of Kazan. The building spans multiple levels and offers separate zones for children and adults, along with rest areas lined with loungers.
The complex opened in the early 2000s and was among the largest leisure facilities of its kind in the region at that time. Since then, the offerings have been expanded several times to attract more visitors.
The name evokes southern European coasts and promises water-based leisure throughout the year. Inside, Tatar patterns and colors reflect regional identity, while families from across the city gather to swim and play.
The entrance is close to central areas of the city and easily reached by public transport. Visitors should bring swimwear and towels or rent them on site, and lockers along with food outlets are available inside the building.
The facility maintains a temperature of around 28 degrees (82°F) throughout the year, allowing water activities even during harsh frosts outside. On some winter days, steam forms on the glass facades while snow lies outdoors.
