Waldsee-Therme
Waldsee-Therme is a thermal water facility in Bad Waldsee featuring multiple pools and sauna sections spread across more than 720 square meters of water surface. The water comes from 1500 to 2000 meters below ground and contains minerals like fluorine and sulfur, heated to about 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
The thermal springs in Bad Waldsee have been used for healing purposes for centuries, and Waldsee-Therme continues this tradition in modern form. The current facility was developed to make this natural resource accessible and maintain the importance of warmth and mineral water for health and relaxation.
The name Bad Waldsee refers to the healing springs long valued in this region for wellness. Visitors can observe how local people incorporate regular visits into their routine, using the warm water as a natural part of caring for themselves.
The facility offers wide pathways and ample space, making it easy for visitors to navigate and enjoy a comfortable visit. It is helpful to check opening hours beforehand to avoid crowds and make the most of your time.
A new sauna section will open on January 31, 2026, uniquely combining heat, nature, and water. This addition will offer an experience that brings traditional wellness culture together with modern design.
