Schloss Waldsee, Royal palace in Bad Waldsee, Germany

The palace stands on an artificial island surrounded by a water-filled moat, featuring a central building with extended wings added in 1745.

Built in 1550 by Georg IV of Waldburg-Waldsee, the palace served as the main residence for the Waldburg-Wolfegg family until 1798.

The palace facade displays the Waldburg family coat of arms and an imperial orb, symbolizing their role as Imperial Seneschals.

The upper floors are divided into separate units available for events, celebrations, and commercial activities through the Waldburg-Wolfegg-Waldsee administration.

The ground floor maintains the original exterior walls from the Renaissance period, while the chapel wing features a distinctive dome structure.
