Plage d'Anse Vinty, Coastal beach in Sainte-Rose, Guadeloupe, France.

Plage d'Anse Vinty is a sandy beach along the northern coast of Basse-Terre with a sheltered cove setting. The shoreline has a natural amphitheater shape created by the surrounding geography.

Archaeological investigations have found evidence of settlements from pre-Columbian times along this coastline. The discoveries show that people lived and gathered in this area before European contact.

Local families regularly gather at this beach for community meals and social gatherings by the water. The place has become a social hub where residents connect with each other throughout the year.

The beach is free to visit and open year-round for swimming and relaxation. Visitors should bring food and water since there are no shops or facilities nearby.

In 2020 the beach served as a training site for maritime rescue teams to test emergency procedures. This work helped strengthen coastal safety standards in the region.
