Riad Marhaba is a traditional hotel in Rabat's medina with Arab-Andalusian architecture and authentic Moroccan design. It contains four air-conditioned suites with private bathrooms, intricate tilework, ornamental woodwork, and a private courtyard for guests.
The property was completely restored in 2007 following historical Moroccan architectural principles. This restoration work preserved the heritage of Rabat's ancient medina and its traditional building methods.
The rooms display classic Moroccan aesthetics with vibrant textiles and hand-carved stuccos throughout. The tall cedar ceilings and lighting choices highlight local craftsmanship that visitors notice in every detail.
The hotel sits in an active area of the medina with good access to landmarks and shops nearby. Guests enjoy traditional Moroccan breakfast served on the rooftop terrace, which also offers views across the city.
The Souika room stands out with its chocolate-brown tadelakt walls and copper-gold decorative touches. This space was specifically renovated in 2015 to create a warm and intimate feel.
