Sculpture "Les deux arbres", Bronze sculpture in Bois de Boulogne, France
The sculpture Les Deux Arbres stands 240 centimeters tall on a small island at the tip of Lac Supérieur in Bois de Boulogne park.
The Swedish industrial company Investor and Wallenberg family commissioned this sculpture, which was inaugurated in 1996 with Paris Mayor Pierre Christian Taittinger present.
The sculpture represents the strong connection between France and Sweden through art placement in one of Paris's largest public parks.
Visitors can observe the sculpture while walking through the park or during boat rides on Lac Supérieur throughout the year.
The sculpture's location on an isolated island creates a natural frame against the water and surrounding greenery of Bois de Boulogne.
