Piscine municipale d'Auteuil, Municipal swimming pool in 16th arrondissement, Paris, France
The Auteuil municipal pool is a public swimming facility in the 16th arrondissement of Paris with two basins of different sizes. The larger basin measures 25 by 15 meters with depths ranging from 1.20 to 4.50 meters, while the smaller training basin is 15 by 6 meters.
The facility was built to provide residents of the affluent western part of Paris with a place to swim. Over the decades, it has been modernized several times to keep pace with changing needs.
The pool serves as a meeting place for residents of the 16th arrondissement who come to train and take swimming lessons together. It hosts programs for different age groups throughout the year.
The pool is easy to reach: buses PC1 and 32 stop near the main entrance, and Ranelagh metro station on line 9 is also close by. Plan time to explore the facilities before swimming.
A special feature is the landscaped solarium with vegetation where visitors can rest between swimming sessions. The roof is also partially retractable to adjust temperature based on weather conditions.
