Strandbad Weißensee
Strandbad Weißensee is a beach and swimming venue on a lake in Berlin-Pankow with sandy shoreline, shallow entry points, and surrounding parkland. The lake reaches depths of about 10 meters (33 feet), water quality is regularly monitored, and the site includes showers, changing rooms, lockers, a bar, and a barbecue area.
The beach opened in 1912 as part of an amusement park. Over more than a century, the site evolved and added modern facilities while keeping its character as a popular swimming destination.
