Pantai Mangrove Center Tuban

Pantai Mangrove Center Tuban is a sand beach and coastal mangrove reserve in Kejenon with broad sandy shores and wooden boardwalks threading through thick mangrove forests. The site combines beach areas with nature trails where visitors can explore the coastal ecosystem firsthand.

The center was created to fight severe coastal erosion that threatened the region for years. Building mangrove plantations helped stabilize the ground and protect the shoreline from further damage.

Local fishermen maintain traditional fishing practices within the mangrove ecosystem, contributing to the preservation of regional maritime customs and sustainable resource management.

Access to the trails and beaches is straightforward and suits different visitor abilities. There are rest spots and shaded areas under the trees that provide relief from the sun.

The mangrove trees here grow exceptionally tall and form natural structures that calm the water. Visitors often spot crabs and small fish living in the shallow water beneath the roots.
