CYC Beach
CYC Beach is a free public beach in Coron, Palawan, featuring white sand, clear water, and mangrove trees growing along the shore. The gently sloping seabed makes it safe for swimming, and shallow reef areas just offshore are suitable for beginner snorkelers.
The beach acquired its name from the Coron Youth Club, a local organization that shaped its identity. Over time, it has become a standard stop on island-hopping tours throughout the region.
The beach takes its name from the Coron Youth Club, reflecting its role as a community gathering place. The mangrove trees along the shore are integral to local life, serving both as natural protection and as a familiar landmark for residents and visitors alike.
The beach is reachable by a short boat ride of about 15 to 20 minutes from Coron Town and is typically visited as part of organized tours. Bring your own snacks, water, and sunscreen, as there are no permanent facilities or shops on site.
The beach is unusually rocky with stones throughout the shoreline, which preserves a natural, unpolished character that more commercial beaches lack. Visitors should wear shoes to walk comfortably over the rocky terrain.
