Lady Robinsons Beach

Lady Robinsons Beach extends for 5.5 kilometers along Botany Bay, from Cooks River to Georges River, featuring pale yellow to white fine-grained sand.

The beach, formerly known as Seven Mile Beach, received its current name from the wife of Governor Sir Hercules Robinson during the colonial period.

The continuous promenade connects multiple suburbs including Kyeemagh, Brighton Le Sands, Monterey, and Ramsgate, each section maintaining its local identity.

Cook Park runs parallel to the beach, providing walkways, bicycle paths, playgrounds, and barbecue facilities for visitors throughout the day.

Ten protective groynes line the southern three kilometers of the shore, contributing to the preservation of the beach's width and sand composition.
