Plaža Prižinja is a small pebble beach tucked into a bay above the town of Rabac, on the eastern coast of Istria, Croatia. It sits at the bottom of a short flight of concrete steps leading down from the main road, with rocks and low bushes framing the shore on both sides.
Rabac was a small fishing village for centuries, and its coves like Prižinja have long served as gathering spots for locals to swim and fish. Tourism in the area grew during the 20th century, but small beaches like this one remained largely unchanged from their natural state.
Visitors should wear comfortable shoes for the concrete steps and the pebble shore, and bring water, snacks, and sun protection since there are no facilities on the beach. Coming early in the day is a good idea, as parking along the main road fills up quickly in good weather.
