The Espiguette beach extends over 10 kilometers along the Mediterranean coast, featuring natural sand dunes and untouched landscapes without buildings in sight.
The beach received the Blue Flag certification two decades ago, marking it as one of the first French beaches to obtain this environmental recognition.
The designated naturist section of Espiguette beach represents the French philosophy of connecting with nature through clothing-optional recreation.
Visitors need to walk 300 meters from the parking area to reach the naturist section, which operates from April 15th to September 30th annually.
The beach forms part of a protected Natura 2000 zone within the Camargue region, where flamingos and other Mediterranean wildlife frequent the area.
