Port-Camargue

Port-Camargue is a harbor and water sports center on the Mediterranean coast near Le Grau-du-Roi with several large basins for sailboats and motorboats. The facility spreads across hundreds of hectares with thousands of berths, restaurants, shops, and residential buildings right along the water.

The facility was initiated in 1969 to create a modern coastal development following architect Jean Balladur's plans. The project stemmed from an economic initiative to establish the region as a tourist and maritime center.
