Plage du miroir

Plage du Miroir is a pebbled beach along the shores of Lake Geneva with mountain views rising behind it. The shoreline extends with accessible swimming areas marked off and plenty of space to settle among the rounded stones.

The beach has been a place of recreation since the early development of Publier, connecting residents to the water's edge. Over time it became more important as a spot for water activities and leisure for the growing town.

The beach serves as a traditional gathering place for locals, especially during the warmer months when the community enjoys swimming, beach games, and social outings. The name comes from the lake's reflection and the way light plays across the water, which locals have long valued as a distinctive feature.

Swimming conditions are best from June through September when supervised bathing areas are in place. Restrooms are available on site, and the beach is easy to access, though the pebbles can feel awkward at first.

The rounded stones that make up the beach have been smoothed by years in the lake's waves and create a natural massaging sensation when you walk across them. This quality gave the beach its name, as the bright stones reflect light and create a mirror-like effect on the water.
