D'olzo

D'olzo is a beach north of Saint-Florent with sandy and pebbly sections backed by a natural tree line along its eastern edge. The shoreline stretches for several hundred meters, offering both open water views and shaded areas beneath the trees.

The beach is part of the Patrimonio coastal landscape, a region with deep roots in wine cultivation and maritime activities. This connection to seafaring and agriculture has shaped the area for centuries.

Local vendors sell Corsican specialties along the shore, including wines from nearby vineyards and regional beers. Visitors taste local flavors while sitting by the water.

The beach is accessible from the D81 road heading toward Cap Corse, with a turnoff near Domaine Gentile vineyard. Shade is available under the trees, but open sunny areas are also present for swimming and sunbathing.

The beach displays three distinct coastal types in close proximity: pebbly areas, sandy stretches, and a natural tree grove offering sun protection. This variety over a short distance makes it adaptable for different visitors and preferences.
