Spiaggia Colle della Palombaia

Spiaggia Colle della Palombaia stretches along the coast, combining sand and gravel in front of white limestone cliffs. A notable granite staircase leads from the upper area down to the shoreline.

Locals call this place the Beach of Hundred Steps, a name tied to the granite staircase descending to the water. The steps are a defining feature that visitors notice right away when arriving.

The beach is reached via a parking area near Marina di Campo, from which visitors descend the granite staircase. The surface can become slippery in wet weather, so sturdy footwear is advisable.

The water remains pleasant for swimming from April through November due to its southern exposure and wind protection. This natural warming pattern makes it a popular choice during shoulder seasons when other beaches are still cool.
