Rena di levante

Rena di Levante is a sand beach in Santa Reparata stretching about 500 meters, where white sand contrasts with red granite rocks. The beach faces the bay and green hills that rise behind it.

The beach area holds traces of ancient Roman roads from the settlement of Tibula, which was established in this northern Sardinian region. These remains show how the area has been inhabited and used since ancient times.

Local restaurants along the shore serve traditional Sardinian seafood prepared with fresh Mediterranean catches from the bay. These dishes reflect how the sea shapes everyday food and life in this part of Sardinia.

Visitors can rent beach equipment such as umbrellas, loungers, pedal boats, and canoes, or try water sports at stations along the shore. These services operate during the summer season.

The beach sits on a strip of land that connects the Gallura mainland to the Capo Testa peninsula, placing it in a unique geographical position. This location makes it a noteworthy point between two distinct coastal areas.
