Spiaggia di Porto Pineddu

Spiaggia di Porto Pineddu is a half-moon shaped beach with golden sand stretching about 180 meters along the coast. Pine forests and low dunes frame both ends of the shoreline, creating a natural border.

This coastline has served as a crossroads for ancient Mediterranean trade routes connecting Sardinia to other civilizations for thousands of years. The nearby Porto Pino harbor shaped settlement patterns and economic activity in the area over many centuries.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices along this coastline, setting out their boats in the early morning hours from the nearby Porto Pino harbor.

You can reach the beach via a wooden boardwalk starting from Via Porto Pineddu, making the walk straightforward and easy. Parking is available near Via del Pino d'Aleppo, so arriving by car is convenient.

Three distinct islands appear on the horizon from the shoreline: Sant'Antioco, Isola la Vacca, and Isola del Toro. This trio of islands creates a memorable visual marker that characterizes the view out to sea.
