Il Golfetto

Il Golfetto is a small cove with fine white sand bordered by large granite boulders that provide shelter from the wind. The water shifts between emerald and deep blue tones, creating distinct natural swimming areas.

The cove is part of Tortolì's ancient past, which began as a Roman coastal settlement centuries ago. Over time the area became a significant fishing center along Sardinia's eastern shore.

The cove draws locals who gather here for swimming and picnics, making it a meeting point woven into the rhythms of village life.

The shore is straightforward to reach and has benches and easy steps down to the water. Nearby you will find chair rentals, snack stands, and restaurants if you need food or refreshments.

The cove is carved into small inlets that connect underwater to nearby Musculedda, creating hidden underwater caves of interest to snorkelers and divers.
