Porto Frailis is a sandy beach located in Tortolì on Sardinia's eastern coast, bordered by granite cliffs that form a protected natural cove. The waters here are shallow and clear, creating an enclosed bay that offers good shelter from rough seas.

The sources document no shipwreck origin for the name. Porto Frailis lies in the Ogliastra region of Sardinia, in the province of Ogliastra, on the island's south-western side facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 300 km south-west of Rome. The area has a Mediterranean climate, with an average temperature of 18 °C, ranging from 9 °C in February to 30 °C in July, and annual rainfall of about 824 mm.

Porto Frailis lies in the comune of Tortolì, in the Ogliastra region of Sardinia, in a small cove south of Capo Bellavista, between the frazione of Arbatax and the San Gemiliano coast. It received the Bandiera Blu della Fee for three consecutive years, from 2016 to 2019. Bars and restaurants stand near the sand.

The beach has lifeguards on duty, bathroom facilities, and boat rentals available for visitors. The shallow waters and gentle slope make it easy to enter the sea, and the protected cove keeps conditions relatively calm most days.

Porto Frailis lies in a small inlet south of Capo Bellavista, between the Arbatax district and the San Gemiliano shoreline. The beach received the Bandiera Blu della Fee award for three consecutive years, from 2016 to 2019.
