Praia do Albatroz

Praia do Albatroz is a sand beach along the Atlantic coast in Caparica e Trafaria, featuring wide sandy areas bordered by natural dune formations and coastal vegetation. The shoreline stretches across several kilometers and includes open water zones as well as quieter sections shaped by local structures.

This coastal stretch served for centuries as a vital navigation point for vessels entering the Tagus River, guided by the Torre de Sao Lourenco lighthouse. The geographic position made this area an important waypoint in the region's maritime history.
