Fornos Beach

Fornos Beach is a sandy shore along the Galician coast in Cariño, stretching roughly 400 meters with golden sand and rocky sections on both sides. Mountains rise near the water's edge and frame the natural setting of this coastal area.

The coastal area of Cariño has long connections to traditional fishing, still visible today through the nearby marina. This maritime heritage shaped how the community developed over generations.

Locals gather here during summer for community events and celebrations that reflect the traditions of this small coastal town. The beach serves as a meeting place where neighbors connect and share their way of life.

The beach has restrooms, showers, foot washing stations, and waste bins along with parking for around 100 vehicles. These facilities make a visit comfortable without having to search far for basic needs.

The beach has no promenade, keeping its natural appearance without commercial development. Visitors experience the raw northern Spanish coast the way it has remained over time.
