Platja de les Marines

Platja de les Marines is a sandy beach in Dénia with fine golden sand that stretches for several kilometers along the northern coastline. The width and length provide ample space for swimming and various water activities.

The area was transformed from an agricultural zone into a beach destination during the 1960s. This development established it as one of the main tourist attractions in the Valencia region.

The beach functions as a social space where locals and visitors gather daily for swimming and relaxation along the shore. The setting reflects Mediterranean coastal life, with families and friends sharing time by the water.

The beach offers shower facilities and basic amenities for visitors, with walking access from the town center. Summer months can be busy, so arriving early in the day helps secure a better spot.

About 50 meters from shore, a floating platform provides swimmers with a resting spot and views of the surrounding water. This structure serves as a welcome break point for those swimming out from the beach.
