L'Estanyo

L'Estanyo is a beach with soft golden sand stretching roughly 1300 meters along the Mediterranean, with a width of about 40 meters across its sandy surface. The water is generally clean and suitable for swimming throughout most of the year.

This beach became part of Costa Blanca's coastal growth, transforming Dénia from a small fishing settlement into a seaside destination during the late 20th century. That shift shaped how the waterfront developed and is used today.

Local residents use this stretch of coastline as a gathering place during warm months, swimming and socializing in a relaxed, informal setting. It represents the casual Mediterranean beach culture that remains part of daily life for people living nearby.

Access to the beach is straightforward, with shower facilities and waste bins located along the shoreline. Parking areas sit near the beach entrance, making it easy to reach the sand on foot.

The beach maintains moderate crowds year-round, with water warm enough for swimming between April and October. This consistency makes it a dependable spot for visits regardless of the season.
