Cala Pedrosa

Cala Pedrosa is a small shingle cove on the Costa Brava, nestled between steep cliffs and surrounded by pine trees. The water is clear and shallow, ideal for swimming and exploring the seafloor with snorkel gear.

The cove was once a key anchoring point for fishermen who worked these waters. Over time it became a favored hideaway for visitors seeking a quiet, remote spot away from busier beaches.

The cove is a place where local people and visitors gather during summer months to swim and enjoy the simple beach life. This small bay has kept its character as a social gathering spot by the water.

The beach is only accessible on foot, about 1 kilometer from Llafranc harbor, or by boat. The lack of vehicle access keeps it quiet and less crowded, so arriving early is a good idea if you want a peaceful spot.

The water here is so transparent that you can see the seafloor even while standing in shallow water. This clarity makes it perfect for underwater photography without needing diving equipment.
