Olander Lake Beach extends along a 28-acre spring-fed lake, featuring natural sand shores and clear waters suitable for swimming and recreational activities.

The City of Sylvania established Olander Lake Beach as part of a larger 60-acre recreational development project to serve the growing community needs.

The beach serves as a central gathering place where residents participate in summer programs, fishing derbies, and community events throughout the warmer months.

Visitors can rent paddleboats, rowboats, and kayaks at the beach, with separate fee structures for residents and non-residents of Sylvania.

The beach integrates with a 1.1-mile paved loop trail surrounding the lake, connecting various recreational facilities including sand volleyball courts and picnic areas.
