Baby beach

Baby Beach features a protected shallow lagoon with calm, clear waters that remain knee to waist-deep across most of the bay, creating perfect conditions for families with young children to swim and play safely.

During the 1950s, the Aruba Esso Club established facilities at Baby Beach including a restaurant, dance floor, and baseball stadium, with a dock built in the lagoon and small recreational shacks that partially remain today.

This southern coast destination represents Aruba's family-oriented recreational culture, serving as a community gathering place where locals and tourists enjoy picnics, group outings, and safe aquatic activities in a laid-back environment.

The beach is accessible by car, bus, or taxi with ample parking available, and offers basic amenities including restrooms, food vendors, rental services for chairs and umbrellas, and snorkel equipment from nearby dive shops.

The lagoon is officially named Klein Lagoen and houses diverse marine life including parrot fish, angelfish, squids, and eels, all visible through the exceptionally clear waters within easy snorkeling distance from shore.
